So who are we and what do we do at 3rd Welling??

                                            When a child first joins beavers, cubs or                                             scouts they start to work towards                                                    their Membership Award.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To gain this award each child must have learnt their promise… (don’t worry you’ll find out about those on the next page!) Once they have learnt their promise they take part in their very own investiture ceremony and receive their group scarf and badges!

 

They then work towards lots of different badges to wear on their uniform. They get these through having fun, playing games, challenges and making things!

 

Throughout cubs and scouts things get more adventurous so hang on tight!!

 

Beavers are boys and girls aged between 5 and three quarters and 8 years old.

 

Cubs are boys and girls aged between 8 and 10 and a half years old.

 

Scouts are boys and girls aged between 10 and a half and 14 and a half years old.
